SHA New Orleans 2021

The SHA's annual meeting will return to New Orleans in 2021. We will meet in our Wednesday to Saturday format, November 3 through November 6. Our headquarters hotel, the Astor Crowne Plaza New Orleans, is located on the corner of Canal and Bourbon Streets in the heart of the French Quarter. Arguably no city is more associated with the SHA than New Orleans. The Association first met in the city in 1938, and we have met more times in New Orleans than in any other city except Atlanta. Our last meeting in New Orleans was in 2008, when intellectually as well as financially, we hoped to help get the city back on its feet. Today New Orleans is more thriving than ever with a new "Step On, Step Off" trolley line that conveniently takes visitors on tours of the entire city, including the Garden District, the World War II museum, and New Orleans historic cemeteries.
